The lights of the staircase flickered on, catching the metal scissors and curlers of the barbershop as the owner descended the staircase. Another day in his little shop, hidden in one of the back allies of downtown. Ian was already fully dressed, the middle two buttons of his shirt done, the rest left open as his black tie hung loosely from his neck. His purple plaid skinny jeans wrinkled around his black boots, several silver rings piercing his ears. Oh course, this was his sense of fashion. A man with earrings, tight clothes, and perfectly blonde hair looked amazing! Shagged, short locks and a suit, on the other hand... Ugh.

As he reached the end of the staircase separating his shop and his apartment above, Ian made his way over to the main desk, allowing himself to drop into the chair with a happy sigh. His employees would be in soon to take their costumers, and maybe he could grab some important people to work on! "That would be great!" He laughed out loud, his English accent coming back as his finger fell on the phone, turning off the 'do not disturb' feature. It wasn't seconds later before it rang, the caller ID jolting Ian from his happy little meditation to pure excitement.

"H-hello?" He stumbled off his chair to pick up the phone, now on his knees in front of the desk, the chair tumbled over behind him. If this was really who he thought it was, and really who the ID said it was, then that meant he had made it somewhere! Somewhere with the big wigs, no barber-lame-pun intended.
