Catching the line thrown at him, he climbs the side of the ship, reaching the edge as he hangs on it as he then looks at Suki and Roy, "What was with that look? Never saw someone swim or something?" Giving an annoyed look on his face as he then noticed them looking at something up ahead. Turning his head to look aswell while still hanging off the side, he saw it aswell, the large ship with a pirate flag. "Pirates? Is this place attacked or something?" Before any of them could reply, the ship suddenly shook. Cannon fire from the pirate ship were being fired at them, making Ryu lose his grip abit as he slipped off, managing to stay on the side by jamming his claws intot he side to keep from falling back into the sea, saddly damaging their new ship even more. "Roy!" Ryu called out to him as he hung on the side. "We can't stay here at their range! Sail the ship into the harbor and we'll make a break for it to escape from their cannon fires. We'll handle these punks once we're out of those cannons!" He wasn't one for running from a fight someone else started, but in this situation, they couldn't really do much with that large of a ship firing on them. Their only chance was to get out of range and then get them from land.
