"There be a storm on the horizon there is." Gangrel mumbled when the captain announced his refusal to return the girl to shore. He had said it to no one in particular, not that it would have mattered if he had. He had carved out a nice little niche for himself aboard the Bloody Serpent, he set about his duties daily and had settled into the role of half crazed old man, it was a surprisingly comfortable lot in life.

He continued mending the tear in the mass of fabric that would eventually return to duty as a fore sail, currently it was draped across his lap. He hummed some old song as he worked, carefully stitching away.

"We'll have a good squall against us then won't we?" he asked of the fabric, "But we'll come out the other side, more or less. Nothing a little work can't fix." He cast a sidelong glance at the girl who was now looking quite worried about her situation. No doubt she should be, this ship had earned its reputation.
