Midas lost track of his target and ceased his charge, his heavy frame skidding a few feet from his momentum. The Golem turned slowly scanning for its target, one leg moving less then the other due to the sword wedged in the joint. Midas extracted the sword with a jerk of his arm and tossed it aside, where it implaled itself in a car parked near the park. "Target sighted. Termination commencing." boomed the Golem's hollow voice as it rushed Damien, who was now staggering to his feet. Small shards of stone fell from the creatures damged leg but it continued, unfazed. Nearing Damien it lowered its massive torso and slammed its adamantite shoulderplate directly into the man's body.
