Blinking twice awkwardly, Rethyn hadn't expected the king would be on his side. Feeling the rather tense grips of the guards release from him, he quickly shot up to his feet and grasped the left side of his jaw with his left hand. Pushing against it gently he heard several pops and a sensation which left him feeling less in pain. Straightening himself up, he coughed yet again as his air flow only now seemed to fully come to.

Suddenly hearing a crash, Rethyn turned to see a man crash through the window and was now on top of the princess. Blinking twice again awkwardly, Rethyn forced another breath of air out of himself. The guards next to him had gone over and pulled the man off of the princess restraining him. Breathing back in slowly and painfully Rethyn still remained silent as he chose to follow the orders of the life saving King.

"Still though..." Rethyn thought to himself. "Am I the only sane one in this room?"

The rage and anger from before had actually died down quite a bit. Sure, he held dark thoughts of the kingdom planning to take away his families shop, but now with the shop gone; he felt the iron leash around his neck release from him. In a way he was free follow his own path, and make his own goals. However, in the back of his mind he knew if the debt ever came back to haunt him he's new freedom would be taken from him.

"Let's just hope it died along with the shop..." Rethyn prayed silently.
