Kazuo held the machine in his hands. Everyone agreed to take it to Corva, even though it put them in danger. Hope it was something he had nearly given up on, being stuck in the Undercity for so long might do that to people. He held the strange object in his hands, the man's dying wish.

"Ok, we should take this to Corva." He looked at his sister, she rareley dis agreed with him, he always took care of her. Now they were grown up, she knew what she was getting into, this was her choice and he would respect it. "For hope then. We will take this to Corva. Maybe he can help us get to the Upper city, where we can look for Terra, and Nowah. Who knows, this Corva fellow could be a nice guy right? I'm sure the pirate king will be willing to trade a few favors for this whatever it is." Kazuo was becoming more reassured with their decision, it started to feel right. The hope he almost let go of was growing bigger, easier to hold on to.

"Well, we really don't have much time." Kazu said returning to his normal collected self. "The patrols will be heading here in a few minutes, if we go now we can probably escape. "I'll have to go by our apartment, and pick up some supplies, it's on the way to the South East district, so we wont lose any time." Kazuo was peeking his head out the door looking around at the streets, the smoke had cleared up so now they could move about easily. He doubted that they could escape into the other district without a fight.

The execution was about to take place, Harvey held his head high as the executioner held a gun to his head. The final words were said.
The executioner pulled the trigger and the sound of a loud shot cut through the crowd. Harvey lived. The shot that was fired did not come from the executioner's gun, it had come from a sniper. The crowd exploded with cheering as Harvey was spared, but who had saved his life. A sudden explosion turned the cheering into screams, sky pirates were attacking the Upper City. A balloon hovered over the lieutenant, and a man came down next to him, grabbing hold and lifting him up into the balloon. There was something big going on, the pirates were kidnapping royals, to ensure that they could escape unharmed. Pirates dropped down and picked up Wynmere and Romi, holding them captive in the same Pirate balloon.

"Hold on tight my pretties, this is going to be a rough ride." Said one of the Pirates, to both the girls.
