The Regina watched silently as the guards tossed around the human before her. She didn't stop it at first because she was too busy observing. Vulcan had been right; he was defiant. Much too defiant. And snarky. It was almost like he enjoyed hassaling guards and goading them into harming him.
"That's enough," she commanded. The guards immediatly grabbed the human and dragged him to his feet. He stared at her with defiance and a challenge in his eyes. At her! The Queen of all people!
"Your name," she requested, gesturing towards him. She already knew his name, but she wanted to see if he was capable of civil conversation.
"Human number one-one-seven-oh-dash-three . . . The third," he answered, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
The Regina was not amused. "Your name," she repeated.
"Alex," he snapped, "You're the queen, shouldn't you know this already? Or are you really as ignorant as everyone claims."
The Regina seethed at that, but she hid it as well as she could.
"I hope you realize that your defiant behavior will not be tolerated here," she hissed.
