Aspyn, in a mixture of confusion and shock, stumbled back as she tried to right herself. "Jeez, man! Try not to pull a freaking Houdini act and scare a girl!" Her right hand was on her opposite shoulder, rubbing it as if to prevent the bruise she would get from the impact. She was only 5'6, but rarely did people miss her and bump shoulder as this guy had just done. Her Auburn hair usually made her stick out like a sore thumb, the way it curled making her seem like a wild-child. In no way was she well known, she only skimmed by in her social life, but that still wasn't enough not to get noticed. What was going on in this guy's mind that kept him from seeing?
Way too amused with herself, she huffed in false anger and grabbed the old camera that hung around her neck, checking to see if anything had scratched the lens that remained uncovered at all times. She was on her usual walk, didn't know where she had been going - finding her way home was always an adventure in itself - but it gave her time to snap random photos of the things around her. People weren't her thing (she preferred animals and nature - things that didn't talk). They were rude and acted as if they were the only ones walking on the earth. Well, maybe not. Just this guy. "Not going to say sorry? Well then I'll be the adult here and say 'excuse me'. Excuse me. I hope I didn't break your arm like you did mine." All of her confidence was false, but in this moment she felt like a boar in her own territory. Stupid and strong.
