Thanks to his armor he had been able to knock the water tigers apart, at the cost of the armor itself, which now lay in small shards all over the street. After a few quick hand seals, pausing halfway through to move out of the way of the fight that would soon be going on between his partner and the one he guessed to be the jinchuriki of the Ox, Eiga says, "Diamond Release: Shimmering Maze!"

The ground begins to shake as the technique begins, and then, suddenly, huge walls of diamond rise up from the ground, forming a maze. The maze fills up the entire length of the street, one wall blocking either side of it, the third and forth walls at the begining and end of the street. Inside the walls that made up the actual maze seemed to be in random paterns, but to Eiga, and prehaps Hitoare as well, who had seen this technique before, the lay out was clearly visable.

"Now the fun begins old friend! Like the host said, let's make this quick!" Eiga says to Hitoare, although now they are seperated by walls, and he finds himself alone for the moment.

(Zero was fighting Kazan because he had gone out of control, but seeing as we have to few people now, I think we can skip that scene and move on to him and the gang going to rescue Sumio and Tezuka)
