Nick gave Alerie a look out of the corner of his eye. "Random much?" he asked in refrence to her certainly random food selection. Ham, pineapple, and salad?
"Now Nicholas," Lithia rebuked quietly, "That's not polite."
"Why do I have to be polite to her?" he demanded, glaring at Alerie. He didn't understand why he had to be polite to another human. Plus he wasn't happy about having to share Lithia's attention. He knew she wouldn't replace him - He wasn't just Lithia's pet, he was her lover too. But he didn't like having to share Lithia's affections or time. Lithia was so busy all the time, and all her free time usually went towards him. He didn't want to give any of that up.
"Because I said so Nicholas," she said frimly, "And that is final, alright. We're all going to get along here, understood?"
