"Whatever do you mean Alerie darling?" Lithia inquired, tilting her head curiously to the side. Nicholas looked up at Alerie in confusion. He was curious as to what she was going to do next but didn't want it to be obvious that he was staring. He had decided to stay completly silent for the rest of the meal - just watch. He was beginning to suspect that Lithia was bipolar and figured that if he didn't say or do anything that she didn't tell him to do, she wouldn't snap at him. He usually wasn't so . . . cautious around her. But today Lithia was acting strange.
