Daniel rose an eyebrow as he scanned the woman. As she got to him and grabbed his duster, attempting to remove it, he cocked his head back. He then grabbed her hand and gently pushed it back as he shook his head.

"Ma'am... it's my job to find idiots, not be one. Most maids don't wear pants like that... and even fewer have belts with holsters."

He motioned towards them with his eye as he looked back towards her. An odd grin grew on face as he chuckled silently. He had learned the hard way in life not to let any facts slide by him. Admittedly, he also learned to at least hear someone out on a situation. He leaned back on the door, tilting his head to the side. He wasn't sure why, but he was fairly certain he had seen her somewhere before. He wasn't sure if it was a bounty or not... but he was certain.

"I know there's something up hear. Tell me what you're doing in here. You wouldn't happen to have something to do with the screaming lady next door now, would you?"

The one thing he was hoping for was avoiding a gunfight. At the current moment, it would be more than an inconvenience to him.
