As it has been for what seemed to be an indefinite amount of time, Vier was, how humans put it, bored. The Worlds were not as they used to be, and she was now stranded in an endless desert, esapes from said place impossible to find unless she traveled back to the Underworld. The sand closed around her feet as she stood on a high bank, the wind pushing the grains around anything blocking its path. Sighing contently at the silence around her, the demon spun, stopping whereever she felt was right. Once her head cleared of dizziness, she started forward in search of other life.

When the demon walked for just over a mile, she stopped where she was and slowed her heart rate. The change into a large demonic hellhound took a fraction of a second. Her pale fur glistened and settled into its normal state. When everything seemed to be in its place, Vier started off again, her pace quicker and her senses heightened. Hearing voices farther along the unknown path, she followed swiftly but silently. She halted at the top of a bank, peering over the top to look at the pair below. What a strange couple this is, Vier thought to herself as she eyed them, her eyes glowing with curiosity. A massive dragon with golden scales flew up behind a rather large black and red cat-beast, transforming into a human as he landed. Gods or demons, she presumed. Perhaps, she said to her mind as she watched the transformation, perhaps they require some help...

Vier decided to keep to her perch for now, watching the conversation below take place. She rotated her ears toward the couple, straining to hear a sound.

"My, this day is full of surprises! Come now, revert to your human shape so we may speak properly!" said the dragon-human. This indicated to the demon the other spirit below must be transforming soon. Silently, she lay down to rest her paws and watched the events unfold.
