“Salty is good sometimes,” Ren admitted across the table, “but I’m sort of fond of candies.” With a laugh, a grin spread across his face. “Well I like any snack food, really.” For some reason, he didn’t quite like the awkwardness of the conversation. “You have a favorite snack? Pocky?”
He looked down at his phone as he waited on a reply and quickly sent a text back to Hana.
It’s fine. So about that date later… :P You up for one?
Ren leaned back in his chair as he shut his phone. He felt rather awkward talking to two girls at once but didn't want to ignore one of them. They were both really nice.
