Dani looked at Kaylee and watched Deirdre asked Kaylee what she thought. She didn't say anything. Her head hurt and her whole body felt odd. It was as if her powers were about to go out of control and she could feel it.
"Kaylee? Deirdre?" she said.
She felt weak. Small sparks came from her fingertips and hit the ground. Her muscles tightened and she couldn't control it.
"Ow." she said as the energy was sucked from her body and went into using her powers.
She looked at Kaylee and Deirdre again.
"I. Don't. Feel. So..."
She didn't get to finish what she was going to say when electric waves went up her arms and through her whole body. When it was over Dani fell to the ground with her knees pulled into her chest and her arms around them shivering. She stared in front of her and tightened her arms.
