Strangely enough, Death thought that Lakonius might have a point. She had never really considered it that way before, that it was the pressure of knowing she was always present that might drive a mortal to do something great enough to be remembered. Even she could not always destroy Memory, after all; only time had that particular power, and only in the right circumstances. Death wasn't quite sure how to make use of that, but it certainly sounded like a lovely idea.

"That sounds like an idea," she agreed, both in response to his suggestion about a new way to occupy her time, and the considerably more lighthearted one about the Underworld. Placing the Sting back about her wrist, Death swung her scythe in a graceful arc, rending space-time so as to grant them access to the Beyond. Smiling ironically, she spoke again. "This is the part where I'd have to convince you that I am what I say I am, then I'd show you what you most wished to see before you went in there... but of course, we will be returning." She did not add that she had no idea what Lakonius most wanted to see; that was part of the knowledge she carried about mortals that simply did not apply to those who need not remain where she sent them for any longer than they wished.
