Matt slowly awoke. The sight of the ceiling blurred into view. He still couldn't see out of his left eye. Sitting up, one of the nurses walked over and scolded him. Matt just ignored her. Looking over, he saw Daemyn sleeping in a chair. Damn kid. Next time this happens, I'll kick your ass myself, Matt thought as he stretched. He felt a sharp pain in his chest when he arched his back. "Ouch... So, what's the damage? I'm blind in one eye and have some sort of internal injury. That's just my assessment. I've had to patch myself up in the past."

The nurse stared at him looking annoyed as he spoke. "Let me guess," she said, "Farley?" Matt nodded in approval. "Maybe this will finally get rid of the damn kid." She pulled a file from the end of the bed. "You're in luck. That blood you coughed up was just from you're nose. It ran down into your lung and ya coughed. No biggie. Overall, you should be fine. Just take it easy for a while." She paused for a moment. "How bad is Farley?"

Matt laughed. "I smashed his collar bone...again." His smile was wide as this time, he might not be the one to blame for the fight. "How's the kid?" She rolled her eyes as if to say he's fine.

"Maybe a broken elbow. He your partner?" Matt nodded. "Well, you can leave whenever ya want. I'm sure you'll be called down about the fight at some point. Probably when Farley gets down here. I wanna see that. Now I have work to do. Stop holding me up." She walked away laughing.
