Jessica looked at him, a smile appeared on his face when she had asked her question, and to be quite honest, the smile almost creeped her out. She looked back at the fire for a moment until he spoke again. She watched him as he stepped around the fire and stood beside her, it made her feel a bit uneasy, for quite a few reasons. One obviously being because she didn't trust him, but also because of her, you could say, attachment issues. When she was too close to someone for too long she became so attached to them that it physically hurt when they would leave for even a few moments. She could not control it either, she could utterly hate the person and this could still happen, this pathetic attachment would take over, driving her insane, and she had no want to become attached to anyone that could possibly be on this island, or anyone who had come off of that ship that she was on.

When he finally answered she looked at him, "well thanks for oh so clearly answering my question," she sighed a bit and looked back at the fire. She looked at him, without facing her head in his direction. She looked at his hair and got the urge to reach up and touch it, her fingers twitched a bit and she couldn't seem to look away from his hair until she turned her head away from him and listened, splits seconds later the sounds of bats flying past them rang through out the cave until they were gone.
