Rowan noticed the lion before the guy who was with it, she just kept staring at it as she had never before seen a real lion. Not up close anyway. She almost jumped out of her skin when it roared and she decided that distance was best kept between her and it. She looked warily at the guy who had brought the lion and saw that he clearly knew how to take care of himself which was what they needed. She walked around the temple and listened as the guy explained more about the place they were in. Clearly he knew what he was talking about and Rowan was glad for that as she had no idea what the Annex looked like or about much at all really.
"I'm Rowan by the way, Rowan White. I came from England and you too?" Rowan said realising that if they had nothing to do but wait they may as well get to know each other.
