He was registering everything she was saying; or trying to. And like he predicted, she was really pregnant. With his child. His mind pivoted into a clutter of negativity that made his vision seem a little blurred and his countenance more disoriented than ever. She seemed afraid of him and she was stammering out responses that he was trying to get a hold on. Then she started shouting at her. And he shouted back, grabbing her arm.
"What is wrong with you?! Of course I want to be apart of this family. Our family. I already told you I wouldn't abandon you btu I just need time to think this through Melanie." His anger was contorting him into something lethal and he knew it and he had to move out of range from her unless he would hurt her more than just shoving her. He stormed past her and went to his room, slamming the door. For fuck's sake...he was losing his mind.
