Weather: Chilly & Rainy.
Shaunee Everhe paced.
The rain's fingers were quiet on the window, streaming after one another as tears did, but she was too distracted to really appreaciate the scene. Her footsteps echoed slightly on the cracked wooden floors; her boots, ones whose supple leather had molded to her feet, squeaked every time she raised her foot, as well as brought it back on the wood floors and the cycle continued.
What was she going to do?
She'd known they were coming- her scouts informed her many hours ago. Quiescent was her mind, calm and calculating. She couldn't dare know the future of herself, and whilst the Seer was out of town- was there no hope?
No. There was always hope. She just had to look closer.
Shaunee shook her head in utter mortification at her latest plan. It would work, perhaps, but she needed a willing volunteer. She opened her door. Standing right outside of it was a member of the Light of the Moon. She forgot the name.
"Bring me the Overseer," she instructed, and continued to pace, waiting.
