"No, I didn't change my mind," said Gwen, and they finally arrived at the kitchen. The room was dark- apparently the cook hadn't had seen fit to awaken on the rainy day. Gwen grinned and flipped on the light. She immediately headed to the fridge; it was stocked with uncooked meat. She made a face and slammed the fridge shut. "Come on," she muttered, searching through the cabinets. She knew the cook had a stash of sweets somewhere- she'd seen him eating them on many seperate occasions. Her dark brown hair was tumbling over her shoulders and swung by her waist as she moved.
Finally, she opened a cupboard and there it was revealed. Stacks of sweets- pies, cakes, chocolate, and delicacies like strawberries and sugar. Gwen pulled a few things out and swiped a finger through the frosting, laughing. When she turned to face Solaris, the frosting flew off her finger and onto his arm.
"Oh, sorry!" she gasped, then began to snicker at him.
