Tom made sure that he was alone in his room before smiling. He was enjoying himself immensely. He liked the people here and he would be sad when it was time to bid them farewell. No. Sad wasn't the word he was looking for. He would be disappointed to see them go. Still, he had a job to do. He had found the man he was looking for and some other to boot. So much work to do, so little time. The first thing he had to do was earn their trust. He pulled out a sizable block of wood from his pack and began carving it. After a few hours, it began to resemble a gun. He worked long into the night, carving and then painting it until he had a very convincing wooden gun. He placed the item on his bedside table and waited for the sun to rise. Tomorrow would be an interesting day. He would make sure of it.
