Isamu moved cautiously inland, he was in an alien land and had no idea what to expect, for all he knew it might start to rain literal cats and dogs with side of flaming cheese. Hopefully such weather would hold off until he made it back to his raft. As he traveled further inland he began to notice how luscious and verdant the island was. This only made him worry, because island so rich in plant life was just as likely to house just as many animals. Along the lines of that thought, Isamu heard some rustling leaves. Just as he tried to duck out of the way, it was too late, he was surrounded by hunters. "Hey!" The said, "We have orders to escort all humans that have washed ashore to the village. You seem well enough to walk, follow us, if you make a break and try to run from us we will shoot you with arrows dipped in sedative." Initially Isamu was perplexed by their appearance, an odd mix of cats and humans. He had heard about them back home, but he had mistaken it for a fetish or some fad the wealthy had to humiliate their workers. But, none of it mattered now, he was going to be taken somewhere with or without his consent. To Isamu, that was a pretty convincing argument, at least considering that he was weakened and a wash up. Shrugging, Isamu followed the lead cat-man to where ever it was they were going.
