"Here." Ianto called out to Annabelle through gritted teeth, leaning back against a post that was rising from the ground between two bushes to divide them.
His mind was fuzzy with pain and he was starting to zone out, eyes going unfocused the longer he sat still. He wasn't sure what to do about his leg, but he knew he had to try and keep alert, so he squirmed forward to pull his backpack from his shoulders, wincing and biting his lip in pain. Dropping the bag beside him, he leaned back against the post and absently noticed that whilst biting his lip, he had drawn blood. Blinking back tears, he drew his legs up to him, gasping as branches scraped his wound.
