Kei took the honey away from Bruno when he realised the bear had enough.
"Well I am on lunch break now. How about you?" he asked.
He heard her laugh and it did something inside of him that made his heart pound. Needless to say, he was really starting to like her. His father once told him that when he met his mother, he knew instantly she was the one for him. It just took him time to convince her of it. He remembered his father's advice when it came to find a mate.
"Once you find her Kei, never let her go. And use that Uzaku charm that runs in our family."
Sound words those were. And he was definitely going to follow those words.

Mira sat on a bench near a tree, eating her lunch. She was a vegetarian, but still ate fish and other seafood. Mira figured it was mostly because she was a swan. So at the moment she was eating sushi. Her mind drifted as it often did and she thought about tonight's full moon. Mira didn't want to admit it, but she was worried. She honestly didn't know if she wanted a mate or not. The good thing would be at least she wouldn't have to hide who she was. But what if she didn't have a mate? It might be for the best because she didn't think she could bare it if she lost someone close again. Thinking about her parents did make her sad. Grace must have sensed Mira's sadnesses because the swan flew up onto her seat and rubbed up against her. Mira turned and smiled at her partner before petting her.
"Thank you Grace. I'll be all right." she said.
They may not be able to talk, but at least they could communicate with each other through feelings.
