Since the entirety of the party was scattered throughout the property, it was easy for the two of them to crash it without being noticed too much. Only Heinrick's buddies spotted the presence of Dalia, what with being a younger sibling of a Star Athlete, she often suffered the backlash of stardom. Attention she didn't need, nor want. Cruz was already wired, taking the first train to 'Rolling Hills'. The music attracted them like a moth to a lamp, leaving Dalia and Mark to scope out the crowd, each for a different reason.
In the midst of his conversation, Rick began to feel like he was hunted, even before Gabrielle touched him, he could tell from his lackey's widened eyes that someone was behind him. He knew it was Gabby, because everyone knew it wasn't smart to sneak up on someone like him. Rick grinned with satisfaction in response to the kisses, and took a generous swig of his beer, allowing her to take her place and stand beside him. But once his gaze actually fell on her, the mouthful of beer sprayed out a couple of feet in front of him in disgusted surprise. Needless to say, her question went unanswered as he grabbed her forearm and tugged her away from the group.
"What the fuck are you wearing, Gabs?" Rick hissed, his anger doubling with every longing stare that was directed at his girlfriend. "You look like a whore--what are you thinking?" As much as he tried to keep his voice down, the very tension between them gave away the true nature of their conversation. To make matters worse, one of his buddies was tapping on his shoulder.
"Rick," the guy said with increased caution. "Rick-"
"What?!" Heinrick snapped, briefly turning his attention off of Gabby and towards his friend.
"Dalia just showed up," the guy answered, shrugging his shoulders, "Just thought you should know."
"Wait what?" Rick's brows knit over his eyes, his hand released Gabby finally, and the tension was pushed aside. Rick quickly glanced around, and had soon enough spotted Dalia and one of her friends he wasn't familiar with emerging outside. "Shit..." Now a whole new issue was lifted to attention. He wasn't about to leave Gabby here alone, but his sister needed to be handled with. And as if just on time, Rick spotted Spencer cutting the crowd and heading over towards them. "Spence-- just the man I need," Rick began, feigning a casual grin, "I got a job for you," he purposely sounded enthused so as not to put Spence off. "I need you to get my sister out of here, I don't care where she goes, she just can't be here, understand?" He glanced back at Gabby, and without waiting for an answer, patted Spence's shoulder, "Good man, appreciate it."
What he needed to deal with first, was his girlfriend changing into something appropriate, and getting her away from the determined little devil that was his sibling.
