Derek pursed his lips when Amy pulled him inside. It probably was just a rabbit...and Parker might be drunk..Or super tired. When she dropped his hand he felt...Useless.
"You found your-" Lights went off and Derek felt a chill. He'd always been frightened of the dark but with all the things going on all he could think about was Amy.
"Amy you okay-"The light was back on. Derek cussed under his breath and glanced at the note, "Who in God's name would pull a prank like this. I'm calling the police." He walked over to the phone. After dialing he realised the cord was cut.
"Honestly! This is the most ill-humored joke on the planet."
