*(Happy Mother's Day, everybody!
First off, let me deeply apologize to everybody for a lack of response in forever. Recently, I've been doing volunteer work at my local church, and I've been busy with a couple of projects both there and here at home. I've also gotten a couple of new games, which have been taking up some of my interest. I wasn't really sure how often I was going to be on, if I was going to be on at all, and I've only really been on to check a couple of messages. I should hopefully be a bit more active from here on out.
EDIT: Due to a vitally important point I forgot that Eruantalon brought to my attention, I'm revising my post quite a small bit.)*
Indeed, as the three weeks passed on, Drake mainly did...well, nothing except lie there, rest, and recover. Ever since he had been admitted to St. Mungo's, for the first 72 hours the Medi-wizards and Mediwitches had been working nearly round the clock to save him. Thanks to Argent's quick intervention, Drake was quickly stabilized and brought from certain death, with extensive treatments being provided and implemented on him. Indeed, his initial prognosis was spotty and unsure, but he had steadily and rapidly improved.
Ron and Hermione, as well with Harry, often times came with him to help provide emotional support. Though the two of them usually didn't stay as long as Harry, primarily because Hermione devoted herself to tracking down the members of La Prise, as well as Kreazil and their activities, with Ron helping her in any way as best as he could...among other things, he valued the time he had with her alone, even IF it was spent focusing on Kreazil.
Argent, much like Eve, had often stayed with Drake--steadfast and ever silent. She did not say anything to Eve during the time they were there together, but there was some obvious tension. More often than not, Argent usually left shortly after Eve arrived, not really wanting to stay long around her. By contrast, Dimitri never once left his brother's side--even going so far as to fight the ones who tried to eject him. While he was successfully removed from the scene the first two times, the third time Dimitri had resorted to significantly dirty tactics, including clawing and biting. By the seventh time, they just plain gave up and allowed him to stay.
Ryu, like Dimitri, visited his cousin, but he only spent about an hour at most. Otherwise, he was like Ron and Hermione, busy with working with them. He had recalled that Kreazil that ordered him to get him a vial of blood from his cousin--and, as much as he didn't want to, he simply couldn't envision the possibility of his father being at the hands of that monster. While he knew he was taking a severe risk, he had--without anybody noticing--managed to secure such a vial. However, he been wavering back and forth on the issue, trying to figure out if he should speak to Harry or at least the rest of the crew about it.
...In the end, however, he ultimately said nothing. To Ryu, his family was more important that anything. Come what may, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it, and hoped the rest of the time would be able to forgive him.
As time passed, Drake slowly recovered, laying there on the bed. For weeks he had silent and unresponsive, though today...that would finally change. As Evelynne drew her hand back from his forehead, his eyes very slowly squeezed further shut and his lips pursed. Letting out a small grunt, his eyes slightly squinted open, his head rolling over to his right side, spotting a red-haired blur. Dimitri, who was sleeping nearby, did not notice what was going on.
"...Ev...ely...nne?" Drake whispered out, trying to focus.
