Meryl sat next to Vash as they drove away from the place they'd begun to call home, her head turning to watch as the twins and the others slowly faded into specks from a distance. Turning back around she eyed Vash as he spoke to her. Listening Meryl was indeed shocked that he'd chosen to seek out his guns again, she had hoped he'd left that life behind.
She knew deep down though that it was apart of him and who he was, a reason she'd come to care for him, perhaps more than she should have. But as he stated he wished to protect the others and finished it by saying 'you' meaning her her cheeks flushed a little red. "Vash....regardless of what name you take the twins wouldn't love you any less. Your a big factor in their lives right now, but.." she trailed off.
"You'll have to tell them and soon. Keeping secrets will only come back to bite you in the end." she looked at him a moment and smiled. "I'm sure they love you too like you were their dad." she caught herself and looked away embarrassed that she'd said that allowed.
