Kouta smiled, though in some respects he was also angry, well ok jealous is a better word to describe it. He underdstood Kia's concern for Zeruel, and to some extent Kouta also worried for him. Altough they had had a rough meeting at first Zeruel was a person Kouta could rely on. He had sensed the vampire from earlier walk out from the alley but didn't chase him, he couldn't really take another ingury from that dagger. The one he had already was still bristling with pain, though it was slowly healing, he would come back for the vampire, then go for Alec. He started to walk back to the apartment, his mind having transfixed the route to memory. He heard the slight sound of a kiss. This was what Kouta was jealous about, though nothing showed on his face. It had been a while since he had been jealous and in some ways it was sort of a refreshing emotion, if not a slightly dangerous one.
No! Don not fall in love with Kia you idiot!... you'd probably never win her over anyway... she's probably in love with Zeruel anyway the thought depressed him slightly, but then he remembered what had happened earlier. Kia knew Kouta's main weakness, which no other peron, human, angel or vampire had ever known. Kouta smiled again and then said
"We better go back then... i bet that friend of yours has already stumbled back home... i just know it"
