Charlotte stood up and stretched, allowing her arms to reach for the ceiling (to bad the ceiling was vaulted and very far from her fingertips). Ice cream sure sounded delicious after all the studying; her mind practically ached for something sugary. She knew she needed to stop eating so unhealthy, sure it would not affect her now, but thirty years down the line she did not want to be morbidly obese with eight chins. Not that anything was wrong with bigger people, she just would never look bad with that build.

Hisoka went to take Hiroki's money... that really irked her. Mostly because her uncle took her money, she knew what it was like. Having something you work so hard for stolen out from under your fingertips. "Look don't take his money I go-" Then the phone rang, out of courtesy she waited to speak until he was done on the phone, but then Hisoka was running out the door. Something along the lines of Megumi and hospital. That was all it took. The girl who had worked along side her was practically her little sister, at school she had decked a boy in the face for talking bad about her, and now she was in hurt?

Something hit Charlotte. This was strangely similar to the situation to that of her parents. Everything was happening so fast again. That same feeling in her gut arose, it was gooey and icky and sat like a rock. Everything in her head began spinning. No.. her parents were gone, her uncle was nothing to her, Hisoka was just a fling.. but Megumi was that sweet little ray of sunshine that always prevailed..

"Well? What're you waiting for, an invitation? Move!"

Then she snapped out of it, catching the helmet and putting it over her wild hair at the same time she slid onto the back of the motorcycle, wrapping her arms around Hisoka's firm mid section. In any other time, being so close to Hisoka would have sent chills down her spine and drove her insane, but more than anything else she wanted to cry.. and she did. It was a silent cry, a few tears ran down her cheeks.

Soon enough they were at the hospital, but still, all to soon.
