Nicolas frowned when he was told off - he wasn't exactly used to the feeling. He watched as Igneous strayed from the group to pick up something. Was that a lizard? What the hell was one of them doing inside, he wondered. The boy chuckled quietly. "Looks like we picked a right social butterfly to talk to, eh?"

When they reached the classroom door, he held it open for his companions. Years of being taught to be a gentleman had left him with a few slightly old-fashioned habits. As he waited for them, he noted the beams of light reaching about half-way across the room and made a mental note to avoid them. Honestly, he felt it was like the school didn't take his kind into account at all when putting together the schedules.
