Davian was too busy trying to calm his angry tummy that he didn’t notice Akisa cooking. “Uhm… you don’t mind Oolong tea right? I have some milder ones if you don’t like it.”The cook asked from the kitchen. “It’s fine.” Davian answered back sweetly peeking over the couch to watch her. The sweet smell of anko dangos wafted from the kitchen, making the small yarn doll salivate. He observed the auburn-haired girl with eagerness.
After a few minutes of waiting, the dangos were finished. Akisa brought the steaming dangos and the tea and put it on the wooden coffee table in front of the hungry doll. His eyes widened excitedly like a child’s did when it walked into a candy store. “Arigato!” The doll said with great enthusiasm. He scooted to the edge of the leather couch to better reach the dangos. Taking one carefully, the doll popped it into his mouth and chewed with many ‘noms’ of approval. He could never get over how good anko dangos tasted no matter how many times he had them. As he ate, he waited for Akisa to ask him questions. She did say that she wanted some answers when Davian was fed.
