'time' there?" he said "time" sarcasticly it was well known he viewed it more as imprisonment. the girl nodded. she was younge with long blond hair the was in many braids. she didnt even look 15 "yes we did our harrowing together. if you dont remember the tower had too many apprentices and not enough lyrium to do the single harrowing for each mage so they sent two at a time. im lucky you were a dalish mage and already had experience in the fade. i remember i was so scared to move when we battled our demons. but you begun the fight and helped me get over my fear" he nodded to her. the memries of the tower coming back and even the memories of the time when the abomination uldred had taken over the castle. the battle with the pride demon both in his harrowing and in the tower. and then in the castle. and now one following him. waiting for him to slip. to say he got a little scared was an under statement. he was terrified but he never let an inch of it show "im glad to see you survived the ordeal in the circle tower with uldred"

they spoke at length beldur not seeming at all happy that he met someone he knew. it seems she hadnt taken the ritual yet and that she had fled the tower after it was thought the rite of anullment was going to happen anyway. she knew a great deal about blood amgic, dalsih magic and even tventir magic. but she never practiced them. it was then their passage was blocked by templars "halt. we are here for the apostate. give her to us" the young girl froze up in obvious terror and looked to beldur but he was looking at the templars the leader of the templars was young and by his tone reckless. he hoped elend would be able to deal with it as he stepped forward "this young woman has come to us to join our ranks. i will invoke the rite of conscription infront of you if it will please you"the young templar scowled "she is malificarum. a blood mage she must be brought to the circle to be made tranquil" elend shrugged his one arm uncaringly "blood mage or not she is a grey warden now. you do not have the right" beldur looked at the young girl with a slight look of disgust but it went quickly after staring into her eyes. she was no blood mage. he could sense it. again one of the magics the dalish had known. he could sense demons just as he could sense darkspawn. he would teach this girl the magic but she is human. even as a grey warden that law of the dalish still needed to be held no matter the circumstances. the templars drew their swords "we cant let a blood mage live. and the way i see it we have a good chance. you are all weakened from the blight. we wont kill you but yuou wont stop us" the grey wardens drew their blades and a standoff has started. beldur eyed the girl, then vin, then elend and now the templar. waiting to see who would make the first move "it seems these templars know not the endurance of a grey warden" elend said in the deathly silence
