Just as Rorschach was turning to continue to climb the stairs, she saw the figure who was on the roof drop down. "Damn." She muttered loudly, and walked quickly to the edge, looking down. He had made his way to the ground floor, where he was cornered by police cars, and Rorschach watched as he retreated into the lobby. She looked around at the outside of the building, eyeing the long banner advertisement hanging down, and an idea popped into her head. She walked to the glass behind it, and thrust her shoulder into the window, breaking it. Then, taking a few steps back, she ran towards the back of the banner, breaking through it. As she fell, Rorschach caught a section of the ad, and tore it in a strip. She fell fast, soon past the bottom of the advertisement. The banner held, and she fell further, edging her body towards the building, until her feet made contact, causing an ache in her heels. She slowed herself to a stop, holding herself up with the torn banner and her two feet against the building. She looked down nervously.
Below her, about 25 feet down, was the hard concrete, just a bit too far for comfort. Thinking quickly, she pushed of with her feet, and came back, crashing through the glass on the second floor. Now inside, she took a look around. Ahead of her was a balcony that looked out on the lobby, and below she could see the man from the roof, now more clearly. He was wearing a strange purple outfit, and wielded a bow. She knew he was trapped and felt it best to come from behind. For once she could work with the police. She ran to the stair cases, which were shielded from view by two large pillars. Rorschach hopped the railing, catching the edge of the floor with one hand, and then dropped down, landing silently on her feet. Much lighter now...being female is...interesting.
She rushed up quickly to another pillar and peered around. Ahead of her two pillars was the thief, taking cover from the police outside, and a man in a trench coat, possibly a detective, who was inside the building. She glanced around to get a hold of her surroundings, finding two fire extinguishers, a few chairs, pots and vases, and a security guard's nightstick, all possible weapons, should she need them. She stayed in her cover, eager to see what was next.
