This kid, how arrogant. Alin grumbled with a face that looked a bit like a cross between a grimace and complete deadpan, and shifted a bit with the addition of the brat so that they were sitting comfortably.
"Hold on tight genki, this might be a bit too fun," She laughed lowly and revved the bike and inhaled deeply before taking off at full speed. Kami, this is better than just about everything. She thought contentedly as they raced through streets and between cars. Heck, she even forgot about the kid hanging onto her waist for a while, that and her destination. Luckily, she remembered before she went to far.
With a near-silent string of curses under her breathe she made a sharp u-turn, one that almost resulted in a skinned knee, or perhaps loss of control... ah well. They were fine.
"Almost there genki. Then you'd best be tellin' me what happened at that shop o'er there. You'll get your dango there, but don't be expecten' me to get it too often. I'd rather just cook it, 'ts cheaper." Alin said loudly, turning her head to be heard better but never actually taking her eyes off the road, that was dangerous ya' know. They were almost there...
Pulling up to a spot right in front of the nice corner-cafe she parked the bike and killed the ignition. Getting up Alin strode to the door and turned.
"Ain't you coming brat? I don't have all day." She sighed, this is why she hated kids, they got on her nerves for sure. Whaddya gotta do for a quiet little job around here, seriously. I go to my first day and find that the whole damned shop is burnt to a crisp and now I have'ta cater to this kid here for any goddamned answers! Alin was a little worked up, having already been previously annoyed that she freaked out about being late to her job only to find out that she didn't have one. And not even because she was late!
Sighing she pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her back pocket and a lighter that had been ornamented with a dragon and its claws. Lighting one she took a drag and released it before tucking the lighter back into her pocket. The matching wallet chain that made its way from back pocket to front on her right side where she kept her wallet jingled in a slightly ominous manner.
"You comin' or not runt?" She jibed, well she wasn't going to stand there like an idiot holding the door open all day, now was she?
