Lance was just about fed up with all this sand. He never did care for beaches that much. The sand was annoying, everywhere, and, oh yeah, extremely, excruciatingly hot. He could practically feel the soles of his feet burning through his flip-flops. “I better find somebody soon,” he said to himself, looking down in disappointment at Lt. Fluff, “or it’s just you and me to perish out here, y’know?” The stuffed bunny’s head flopped and he sighed. “Yeah, I don’t want that either.”

He laughed out loud, almost insanely, and ran full speed at the boy he’d only spoke to a few times before, soon tackling him to the ground with absolute joy. “Deli Bird!” he cooed loudly. “I never thought I’d be so happy to see your face again!” Whether insulting or not, that was up to Delbert to decide.

Sitting on top of the other boy, Lance made no point to move. He stuck Lt. Fluff in his face and moved him along with his talking. “You wouldn’t happen to of seen my Juju around anywhere, would you? Or anyone else, maybe?”
