Vin smiled when Illa asked Vin to sit on Beldur and she complied, placing herself on his lower torso, making sure she didn’t even go near his broken ribs. She watched with fascination as Illa patched him up, something that Vin had never really been able to do, she wasn’t skilled with bandaging nor healing. She also listen as Illa said something Dalish to Beldur and she blushed, not knowing why she was talking Dalish around Vin, she thought that Illa had actually started to like her. Vin frowned and tried to think what it meant but she really did have no idea, Beldur had never really brought up his language before and she never really asked him about it.

Illa soon left and Vin quickly peeked around, making sure that he was okay. Although she was shocked when Beldur told her that Illa told him that she was upset. She couldn’t have sense how upset she had been in the hallway, had she? Perhaps it was only about Beldur being injured but a gut wrenching thought told her that it was about the hallway incident. She felt her hand touch the bruise that had started healing, yellow and green, around her eye and she frowned, soon putting her hand back to Beldur’s bandaging, rubbing small, soothing circles over it in hopes to comfort him.

“I’m just worried about you, that’s all. I’m wondering what’s going to happen after you heal, are we still going to be with the Grey Wardens or are we going off by ourselves? And the fact that you’re hurting right now, it bothers me, I mean, I love you Beldur and I hate seeing you hurt. I wish I was just able to make it better.” She told him, truth in her words. She wasn’t going to tell Beldur about her father as long as she didn’t have to, so she would just tell him about her other worries. She got off of his body and got off of the bed, busying herself around with a few things, suddenly wishing to get out of the castle.
