Things are a lot better with you around." He smiled a bit and turned back around, spurring the horse on down the path to Dern. Damn it, I hope I didn't just mess this up. The remainer or the ride was oddly short. They were closer to the port then Kenji had thought, but still, a wave of relief swept over him at the sight of the crowded place. He stopped the horse at a tavern on the outskirts of the Port and tied the horse to one of the poles. He didn't want that kiss to ruin their already odd relationship. So he just decided to play it off for now. "We can stay here for now. Samuel should be wandering the streets in a few hours, so until then, we'll rest up."
