Arkyn drew his hand back, somewhat regretting outstretching it to touch her. He regained his arrogant smirk and flipped his silver hair away from his eyes. His nose pointed to the ceiling.

"Yes, I suppose we should," the prince said. Even though he held himself high, he dreaded this thought. Now he'd have to listen to hours of political rambling from his father. Arkyn would find any loophole, dodge any obstacle to get out of this; but he would dare not say anything, for fear of "The serpent of Voreia." His father wasn't exactly the most pleasant when angry.

They walked through the arched hallways, passing the great relics, armor, and weaponry along the walls. As he turned the corner, something darted through the hall and fled out of sight. What was that?!Was that a...dog?!

"Mitsuki, did you see that?!"

Arkyn pondered the thought of a wild hound wondering the halls, wrecking the expensive artifacts...Where could it have come from? Now that he thought about it, the foreign king did have a hound by him, didn't he? Maybe it got away from him...either way he had found his "loophole." He secretly smiled and without waiting for Mitsuki's answer, broke into a sprint after this creature.
