The way he looked at her held her gaze. No one had ever looked at her like that before! This strange man, who seemed more human than Mu, who was so willing to learn what she offered to him despite his stubborn attempts to hold onto his learning and training...was nothing like what she'd been told to expect of his race. He was an enigma, and she might still feel uncertain of herself, absolutely shy to a great degree, but she was beginning to like being in his company.

It was a truly odd feeling.

She didn't get to revel in it long. When the rumbling began again, Coru tensed, watching Geo as he eventually rose and began heading for the wall. "Wait!" Yes, she heard the sound, too, but it wasn't safe to simply head for it! Still, she couldn't let him go alone, seeing him limp like that, with his head in the condition it was in. She nodded at his request, was already following, and reached out to begin hurriedly pulling stones from their loosened places. In the middle of it, she hissed a breath, her knee aching. It was obviously bruised badly. Nothing she couldn't handle, but it made itself known. Regardless, she worked as doggedly as Geo did...and then paused, hand on his arm. "You're working like a madman, and it's not just to get us out of here. You sense something."
