Anter was awake long before White Star was. He was cooking their breakfast of curry. He didn't know how to make anything else, so he stuck with that whenever he was cooking. He had a system worked out in his head. If White Star woke up before him, he would make the curry very mild. If they woke up at the same time, he would add some spice to it. If Anter woke up before White Star, he would make it blazing hot with extra spice. The outcome of the first would be the rest for the entire day. It was in its own bowl with chicken serving as the meet and rice on another plate if he ever so desired to combine the two (personally, I believe either way works, together or not, but I think it is supposed to be together).

Anter set down his own plate and scarfed down half the meal, leaving the rest for White Star. He walked over to his housemate's room and knocked on the door. He said, "Hey White Star, your food's ready! You better get up and get ready for school. I'm leaving without you today, so you better catch up with me!" As he was walking to the door, briefcase in hand (not entirely sure what the thing is called that japanese students use), a voice came to him in his head. Just kill him and take his soul, then you don't have to worry about him. No one would think you did it because you two get along so well. The madness whispered inside him. Mumbling to himself, he said, "Just shut up. We go through the same routine each day. You say kill, I say no. How about you just quit it for the day, or week, or month, or year, or just my entire life. I would really appreciate that." The madness remained silent after Anter spoke.

As he walked out the door, he saw Hero and Algernon run past his home. He quickly began to run after them. They always gave him some good exercise in the morning, even though he was faster than both of them. He enjoyed the company since White Star slept in more than usual. He looked over at the pair and said, "How're things going this morning?"
