Callen shrugged, a tad bit disappointed that Zach wasn't getting what she was telling him. But then again, everyone could be a bit thick sometimes, and perhaps he just didn't want to talk about anything like that. It could've been the wrong time to bring it up, even though it had felt right enough. She grinned at him, trying to evade the awkwardness that she was sure was just around the corner. "I don't expect you to talk about anything in particular. Have you ever studied storytelling? It's called set-ups, and pay-offs. Conversations like the one we're having always turns out to be important sooner or later." She stated, as if saying things like that was completely normal.

She then looked at him , a brow raised, and an almost cruel smile on her face. "I'm just shittin' ya, mate! No worries." She then said, laughing. Continuing down the hall, she didn't feel like letting the moment die out, for she was, without lies, very amused.

"The offer still stands though." Her tone was now serious again, but it didn't remain like that for long. "You just tense up sometimes. I'm not trying to force you to do anything, I just get worried. It's like you have a lot of heavy stuff on your mind."
