Hero gasped and snatched the phone from Algernon.
"Hey, be careful, you don't want to break it." Alge said but Hero was only half listening.
"Seventeen percent, hey, it works. But that's not the point, you're mean!" Hero was speculative during his observation of the phone, but the second half of his statement was an outburst and he whined quite loudly, waving his arms frantically. Ryuho tried desperately to catch his hand and save the phone, finally managing to after dodging a few swings that would have knocked into his outstretched hand or even his head. Algernon laughed, patting Hero on the top of his head. Hero pouted, hands now clenched and he thought about taking a swing at his Meister. Then had a better idea.
He ducked away from Algernon's patting hand and straightened and in his best adult voice said "Anyway, we need to get serious about this, we don't know quite what we're up against so that contraption thing Ryuho made will probably be of great use."

"Aw, trying to fight the fate of the phone percentage?" Algernon asked. Hero shot him an evil look.
