Gone and taken my smile with you"
Chris finished up his song and looked around the room. No one cheered. It wasn't exactly the kind of song that made people wanted to smile at. He did see a few tears though, and not even only on women. He started to walk off the stage when slowly people started to clap. There was no cheering, just slow clapping that seemed infectious. Eventually the entire room was clapping. He didn't smile, he didn't say thank you. He just walked off and got back into the car and exhaled slowly.
