Walter walked back to his house which stood across the street from Marshall College, once there he finished up with his packing, most of it had already been packed away in his suitcase, rather sloppily, everything was stuffed inside the case with no sense of organization. After packing he went into the kitchen to have a cup of coffee and while there, sitting at the kitchen table, he heard a strange sound coming from the other room. Quick to his feet Walter rushed into the living room in an attempt to discover the source of the strange noise. Shifting his eyes around the average sized living room Walter was startled by a shadow which had floated passed the window. Upon further investigation he determined that he was simply imagining this, perhaps a bit of paranoia brought on the growing sense of doom which had attached itself to Walter's thoughts. Walter would not tell Abagail of this strange shadowy encounter, though she could sense that something was wrong.
