The unit soared past, while Seraphim’s hand grabbed a hold of it from behind, she spun around in a full circle and sent it soaring above from where it came, this time however, she fallowed it. For some strange reason left unknown to her, Nimea was getting angry, or annoyed was more like it. The mecha she had just fought was a true warrior, one that made her think, one that woke her up during this battle, made her body tingle. And then this…this, thing shows up and dares to engage in such a way? She glared as she caught up to the spinning mecha, grabbing its arm and about to throw it a second time in a short spurt of rage, but before she could make the throw the unit activated some sort of thruster of its own, a bubble of magnetic pull spiraled under it and jammed it forward, she did not let go of the arm.
And the mecha ended up much farther from her in a matter of seconds, missing an arm and energy blade for its trouble. The bubble dispersed and Nimea stared after it, she had seen no weapon or modification like that before in any of the other units she had fought, or they surely would have used it. ’Mother, I have found something interesting in a most unlikely model.’ she reported, zooming in her visual and cameras, recording it and identifying the parts of the machine, she’d have to capture it for full scans, she moved to do so, but instead a large ship blocked her, even forcing her to back off. Her eye widened for only a moment before they narrowed, furiously activating the hum of her jamming frequency she roared at full blast, the noise able to be heard as a high screech from quite the distance. It did nothing to stop the ship, she fired at it, shields blocked her. ’Brethren! Attack!’she ordered, her brothers obeying her wish, but simply unable to get close to the ship. Her teeth barred, she watched in annoyance as her target was pulled away with the ship, under a beam.
’Brother…this feeling, I feel like you do when you fight, only worse, much more…angry. How do I fix it brother?’ She barked telepathically to him, looking to him for advice once more. ’I WANTED that unit, it had something useful for mother!’ she kicked out and growled in her cockpit, breathing hard and fidgeting, unsure of what to do with herself, she had never encountered being so distressed before.
