"Come this way, hurry!' Walter grabbed Abagail by the forearm and lead her out of the airport lobby and into an awaiting cab, the stranger from the ladies restroom quickly following them. Heads turned in his direction due to the loud clicking of the hard soled black shoes which he wore as part of his SS uniform, Walter and Abagail were certainly getting some attention from the onlookers in the airport. The rain had stopped by the time they made it outside, the cab was still parked near the curb, just as Walter had asked upon ordering service from the cab company. The back door of the cab had already been opened for them by the driver, this door would serve as their only form of protection, fortunately for them it was a sturdy foreign made vehicle. An unusual sensation was beginning to overtake Walter and Abagail as they ran for their very lives toward the main exit. The trauma and danger of the present situation gave the impression that everything was going in slow motion.

The double doors which lead out of the lobby were violently flung wide with the assistance of Walter's outstretched hand. The long trench coat worn by the black clad Nazi officer fluttered wildly as he ran after the foreigners, pulling his pistol from the coat he fired four shots at Walter and Abagail, none of which had reached their intended targets. Walter and Abagail only had a few more steps before they reached the waiting cab by the curb, Abagail showed considerable agility by diving into the back seat of the car, as Walter trailed closely behind her. Walter repeated Abagail's rather impressive feat of diving head first into the back seat, in one swift motion he also grabbed the door handle and pulled it shut. One....two...three more shots rang out, this time nearly hitting Walter. The cab driver was completely frozen with fright as Walter yelled out to him, "Get us the hell out of here man!"
