The shields on a ship were meant to withstand great forces...but if too much strain was put upon them, then the shield generators would either be forced to shut down or overheat and explode. He smiled. Sister, you have the right idea. A few groups will do nothing...but what of an entire Horde? He gave a laugh, both in mental connection and physically. Brethern! All of you! Retrieve the Mech from the Scum's ship! The entire horde, with the exception of a small group who were under more direct orders, broke off their attack and flew toward the ship, attacking the sheilds with all firepower available.

As this happened, Ba'al's Mech's arm came apart into pieces again, this time rearranging the gun from the short stubby ion cannon into a lengthier one. "I'll have one shot...but that's all I'll need." He smiled, priming the gun, all of the energy collecting in the barrel for a single discharge. He waited a minute, a bar on his viewscreen showing how much energy was being put into the shot. A sound clicked, speaking in the Kell'rah physical language, stating the charge was complete. With the push of the trigger, the shot tore out of the barrel, slamming into the sheilds, creating a temporary fireworks of ion and plasma. The bad side to this attack was that he, himself, could not move, the shot draining his Mech's main energy cells. Luckily, the T'calla power core would revive and recharge his ship, taking it off of reserve, but for the moment he was unable to do much.
